So, I decided to start marking my images with my screenname. I would also like people to know where these screenshots came from. They might not be the best screenshots but it’s my contribution to the fandom. I don’t draw for the fandom, I don’t write for the fandom, but I take screenshots. It is just a screenshot, but it’s my time and effort. It’s timing my button presses just right so I get a certain pose or expression. It’s me doing scenes at night, then doing them again during the day for different lighting. It’s me doing a cutscene multiple times to get all possible shots.
I know I don’t own these characters, but taking screenshots with Ansel isn’t just hitting the share button on the PS4 controller anymore. If you use a screenshot of mine for a header/icon etc, some form of credit would be awesome. If you happen to upload my screenshots somewhere else (Twitter, Instagram, Pintrest, etc) Please link back to my blog or put my username somewhere with credit in the post. Note that you're applying Glamour over existing gear in your Character menu, so when you replace gear pieces with new equipment, you lose the Glamour effect on that corresponding equipment slot until you return to a city and apply the same Glamour Plate again.I would prefer for my screenshots and gifs to not be uploaded anywhere else, but this is the internet so…on that note, please do not edit or crop out my watermark on any of my screenshots or gifs that have them. Then, when you're ready to apply your Glamour Plate, simply choose the plate you'd like and select the apply button to apply it to your current gear. When you're satisfied with the layout of your Glamour Plate, press the save button to lock it in.
You can view your outfit as you mix and match different Glamour items. Assigning Glamour items to your Glamour Plates is as simple as going down the list of equipment slots and choosing which items from your Glamour Dresser you'd like to apply there. You can set up 15 Glamour Plates by default. Glamour Plates are preset outfits that you can assign at a Glamour Dresser and apply from your Character menu while standing in any city or residential zone. The Glamour Plates system is especially handy for creating outfits and easily applying them on the fly without returning to a Glamour Dresser. Once an item is in there, you can apply it to as many pieces of gear as you'd like. When you're ready to convert a piece of equipment into a Glamour item, simply select it from the righthand menu and expend one of the Glamour Prisms from your inventory to convert it to an option in the Glamour Dresser menu. Once you're in front of one, you'll see a menu that includes all of the items you've already Glamour-ified (on the left) as well as a second window on the right which is where you can scan through the different tabs and view the equipment in your Armoury Chest or your Inventory that has yet to be glammed.
These Glamour Dressers are found inside of inn rooms and your Grand Company Barracks. You can turn virtually any piece of gear into a Glamour item when you visit a Glamour Dresser. You'll need to complete the quest for each Disciple of Hand job you plan to craft Glamour Prisms with. If you want to use the other method of unlocking the Glamour system for whatever reason, you must be level 50 or higher and do the A Self-Improving Man quest located in Mor Dhona (X: 22 Y: 6) located shortly north of the Aetheryte. Beginning at level 15, you can complete Swyrgeim's two quests in Western Thanalan (X:12.6, Y:14.3, aka Vesper Bay) that unlock both aspects of the Glamour system: “If I Had a Glamour” (for applying Glamour and using Glamour Plates) and “Absolutely Glamourous” (for crafting Glamour Prisms and Glamour Dispellers).
